What Makes a Liquid Difficult to Fill?

Acids, alkalis, bleaches and other aggressive chemicals can attack conventional stainless-steel product-contact parts.
For these applications, we can provide specialist filling equipment using compatible materials such as glass and PVC for product-contact components and specialist seals and valves – including our PB5000 range and automatic filling systems.
Flammable & Volatile Liquids
Solvents, alcohol-based products and other flammable or volatile liquids can present fire and vapour hazards, requiring filling equipment specifically designed for use in potentially hazardous environments.
We can provide fully pneumatic equipment or appropriately specified ATEX filling equipment, from semi-automatic machines through to fully automated filling and capping systems.

Semi-Automatic Volumetric Filling Machine
A specialist machine for filling corrosive and aggressive chemicals. Glass cylinders with PVC pistons and valves resist attack from products that would damage conventional stainless steel, making the PB5000 well suited to bleach, sodium hypochlorite and alkalis. Handles fill volumes from 500ml to 5 litres.

Semi-Automatic Volumetric Filling Machine
A stainless-steel filling machine for chemical and industrial liquids where full 316 stainless-steel product-contact construction is appropriate rather than specialist materials. Designed for larger-volume filling of free-flowing chemical products such as oils, lubricants, detergents and shampoos.
