This easy-to-operate automatic vacuum level filling machine is ideal for filling rigid containers such as glass bottles with a huge range of liquids, all to a set height for that consistent ‘on-shelf’ appearance.
Universal has combined its Volumetric and Vacuum Level filling technology on one machine to enable you to choose the optimum filling system to suit the product and containers you wish to fill.
The unit allows simple switching from one system to another and offers the “multi-product packer” … the ultimate in filling flexibility.

How does a vacuum-level liquid filling machine work?
The Posivac uses vacuum-level filling technology to fill containers to a predetermined liquid height rather than dispensing a fixed volume. This produces a consistent fill level across containers, helping achieve a uniform appearance on the shelf, even where there are minor variations in container capacity.
What types of liquids can the Posivac fill?
The Posivac is designed for free-flowing liquids and is suitable for a wide range of products, including perfumes and fragrances, wines and spirits, pharmaceutical products, chemicals and personal care products. Product compatibility can be assessed by Universal’s technical team to ensure the correct configuration and materials are selected.
What liquids can it fill?
It fills free-flowing liquids, semi-liquids and liquids with particulates into rigid containers to a predetermined level. Hose and seal materials can be specified to suit almost any liquid, and an ATEX certified version is available for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
How fast is the Posimatic Voluvac?
Up to 120 bottles per minute. Actual output depends on the product, the fill volume and the number of filling heads. Machines can have up to 12 heads, and single and twin head variants are also available.
Can the Voluvac fill from the bottom up?
Yes. A short stroke or full diving nozzle is available for bottom-up filling, and the fully adjustable dive unit allows the nozzle to be set for the neck of your container. Bottom-up filling is often used to keep splashing and foaming to a minimum.
Can the Voluvac be part of a complete production line?
Yes. Conveyors can be supplied to suit any application, including a variable speed slat chain conveyor with fully adjustable container guide rails. The machine can be linked with capping machines and other equipment as part of a turnkey production line.
