Many of us are familiar with the small individual portion pots of Jam from Wilkin & Sons Ltd that we see at the hotel breakfast table. This very popular brand also supplies the catering industry with larger container sizes and they approached Universal Filling Machine Company to fill jam in 3Kg tubs.

The Solution:
Universal supplied a Posifill EF 2500 single head bench mounted filling machine suitable for filling from 250ml – 2500ml in a single dose. The machine was supplied with our pneumatically operated ball valve and specific nozzle suitable for filling liquids containing particles such as pieces of fruit.
Other alternatives:
The Universal P5000 is suitable for 2500ml and larger containers.
This versatile machine allows us to fill small batches of 3Kg tubs relatively quickly. It is easy to clean so changeovers from one product to another are quick and simple. The machine is ideal for food production environments.
